Foundation Stage Teacher
Tamara is a Canadian teacher and counseling psychologist that lived in the United States for most of her life.
Her greatest joy is to work with young individuals and she has been privileged enough to do so in a wide range of settings. Much of her teaching experience was completed in the United States where she taught early years in a highly respected learning institution.
As a fresh Master’s graduate of counseling psychology, she is eager to consolidate her background in psychology with teaching to yield a fruitful and well-rounded learning experience. She has a vast knowledge of play therapy for kids and mindfulness techniques that help to promote healthy social interaction. She believes it is important to lay a foundation of learning that can be built upon over the years.
After being presented with the opportunity to work in Egypt, she knew that she found her calling. She has been living between Egypt and the United States for the past 7 years. Joining the BISM staff is the start of a new venture for her and one that she values greatly.
